AI That Works Properly inBangla

Most systems treat Bangla as an afterthought and break on Banglish, transliteration and regional phrasing. We build for how your customers actually write.

Definition

Why is Bangla harder for AI than English?

Bangla is under-represented in the data most language models are trained on, so general systems handle it less reliably than English. Three problems compound this in practice: people frequently write Bangla using Latin characters (Banglish), the same word is transliterated several different ways, and messages often switch between Bangla and English within one sentence. A system that only handles clean Bangla script will fail on most real customer messages, which is why Bangla capability has to be tested against actual traffic rather than assumed.

What you get

Built for the Bangla people actually type

'Amar order ta kothay?' and 'আমার অর্ডারটা কোথায়?' are the same question. A system that only understands one of them is not a Bangla system.

01
Bangla, Banglish and code-switching
Understands Bangla script, Latin-script Bangla, and sentences that switch between Bangla and English — then replies in whichever the customer used, rather than forcing them into one language.
02
Transliteration-tolerant search
'Dhaka', 'Dhakaa' and 'ঢাকা' resolve to the same place; product and name searches survive inconsistent spelling.
03
Bangla speech to text and back
Transcription tuned to local pronunciation, and natural-sounding Bangla voice replies for phone and IVR.
04
Bangla document processing and OCR
Reads printed and scanned Bangla forms, NIDs and letters, extracting fields rather than just producing text.
05
Tested on your real messages
We evaluate against a sample of your own customer traffic, because benchmark scores say nothing about your vocabulary.

No separate Bangla and English workflows to maintain.

Reaches customers English misses

The audience that will not transact in English at all.
How we work

From English-only to genuinely bilingual

We start by measuring how badly your current system handles Bangla — usually worse than expected.

  1. 01

    Test against your real traffic

We take a sample of your actual Bangla and Banglish messages and measure what your current setup gets wrong.

  2. 02

    Build the language assets

Your product names, place names, local terms and common misspellings — the vocabulary no general model has seen.

  3. 03

    Tune and evaluate

We adapt retrieval, matching and prompting for Bangla, then re-run the same test set so the improvement is a number, not a claim.

  4. 04

    Review with Bangla speakers

Native speakers on your side check tone and correctness. Technically right and culturally wrong is still wrong.

  5. 05

    Launch and keep learning

We monitor the messages it still handles poorly and feed them back monthly, which is where most of the long-term gain comes from.

FAQ

Questions, answered

01Do the major AI models already support Bangla?

Partly. They handle clean Bangla script reasonably and degrade sharply on Banglish, transliteration and regional phrasing — which is most real customer traffic. The work is in the layer around the model: vocabulary, matching, retrieval and evaluation against your own messages.

02Can it handle Banglish written in English letters?

Yes. That is the specific case general systems fail on, and it is a large share of what customers actually send. We test for it explicitly rather than assuming it works.

03How accurate is Bangla speech recognition?

Good for clear speech on a decent connection, weaker with heavy background noise or strong regional accent. We test with recordings from your own call environment and give you a measured figure before you commit, rather than a vendor benchmark.

04Can it read scanned Bangla documents?

Yes, using OCR tuned for Bangla script. Accuracy depends heavily on scan quality; we run a sample from your archive first so the estimate is based on your documents, not ideal ones.

05How much does a Bangla AI solution cost?

It is priced like the underlying solution — chatbot, voice system or document processing — plus the language work: building the vocabulary and running the evaluation. We quote itemised so you can see what the Bangla capability specifically costs.

06Will it reply in the same language the customer used?

Yes, by default. A customer writing in Bangla gets Bangla; one writing in English gets English; Banglish gets whichever reads more naturally for that message. You can override this per channel.

07Is our data used to train public models?

No. Your data stays in your own systems or a private, access-controlled environment, and is never used to train shared or public models.
